Continuing on from the last couple of posts – I noted today that when looking at the age profile of JSA claimants seeking tech jobs there has been a worrying increase over the past 5 years in the proportion of said group aged 50+ – rising from just 13% of the total in Q2.12 to 30% in Q2.18! To be honest, this does mirror the figures for claimants overall (up from 16% to 32% over the same period) though that probably wont do much to console those seeking work.
